...well, discounting the countless motorcycles I've picked up as scrap and refurbished to be resold (personal favorite was Mat's CM250, he rode the living piss out of that thing for about 6 years, if I remember correctly), I'd have to say it'd be my Viking snowblower...ugly, crude, 25 years old, but needed only the most minimal of work to get running again and back in good order...good old-school compact but heavy machine, no safety devices or any of that crap...a pure, raucous, temperamental, disloyal meat grinder of a machine...and man, can it dig snow...far better than many modern machines that are so hobbled by their makers' fears of liability... |
